The Bluegrass Yarn & Fiber Crawl Starts This Weekend!

by Sarabeth Paraido

The wait is over! The Bluegrass Yarn & Fiber Crawl kicks off this weekend and runs July 24 through August 2. It's time to gather your fiber friends, plan your route, and hit the road for ten days of yarn, wool, farms, fiber arts, and small-town adventures across the Bluegrass!

Hosted by the Kentucky Fiber Trail, the crawl invites you to visit participating yarn shops, fiber farms, studios, and mills, each offering a unique experience. Meet the makers, shop for beautiful yarns and handcrafted goods, discover new fiber techniques, and experience Kentucky's thriving fiber community firsthand.

Be sure to bring your Fiber Crawl Passport (download here) and collect stamps as you travel. Share your adventures on social media, snap plenty of photos, and don't forget—you'll have opportunities to enter prize drawings along the way!

There's still time to plan your route, so check out the participating locations below, grab your passport, and join us for an unforgettable fiber-filled adventure.
