Workshops Are Live for the 2026 Kentucky Sheep & Fiber Festival!

By Sarabeth Parido

One of the most beloved parts of the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival is back—workshops for 2026 are officially live!

Each year, these classes offer a chance to slow down, learn something new, and spend time with others who share a love for fiber, creativity, and handmade work. Whether you’re brand new to fiber arts or have years of experience, this year’s workshop lineup has something to inspire you.

Our 2026 workshops cover a wide range of fiber arts and skills, from creative, hands-on projects to educational sessions that deepen your understanding of the fiber journey.

You’ll find opportunities to:

  • Experiment with different fibers and materials

  • Learn new techniques or build on skills you already have

  • Explore both traditional methods and creative, modern approaches

  • Gain insight into the process from raw fleece to finished product

Many classes are designed to be approachable for beginners, while others offer more in-depth learning for those ready to expand their craft.

One of the things that makes our workshops so special is the atmosphere. These aren’t just classes—they’re experiences.  You’ll be learning alongside fellow fiber enthusiasts, guided by passionate instructors who love sharing their knowledge. There’s room to ask questions, try something new, and enjoy the process without pressure.  Whether you prefer structured learning or more creative exploration, you’ll find classes that fit your style

Workshops are a wonderful way to make your festival experience even more meaningful. They offer dedicated time to learn, create, and connect—something that’s easy to miss in the excitement of a full festival day.  Because class sizes are limited, many workshops fill quickly. If you’re considering taking a class, we encourage you to register early to reserve your spot.

Join us in 2026 to learn something new, meet fellow makers, and celebrate the art and craft of fiber!
