Calling all fiber lovers, yarn hoarders, makers, and curious explorers—mark your calendars for July 25 through August 3, 2025 and join us for the Bluegrass Yarn and Fiber Crawl! This 10-day event is a celebration of Kentucky’s rich fiber arts community, brought to you by the Kentucky Fiber Trail and its incredible network of farms, shops, and studios.
Whether you’re a knitter, spinner, crocheter, felter, or just fiber-curious, this is your chance to discover the best yarn shops, fiber farms, indie dyers, and textile artists the Bluegrass has to offer. You’ll get to meet passionate makers, tour beautiful rural spaces and urban studios, and maybe even add a few skeins (or dozen) to your stash.
What is a Yarn and Fiber Crawl?
Think of it like a road trip with purpose! During the crawl, participating locations across the Bluegrass region will open their doors to visitors with special events, giveaways, trunk shows, demos, and more. Each stop is a unique experience—some are shops, others are working farms or artist studios—and together they form a rich tapestry of Kentucky’s vibrant fiber scene.
Here’s how to join the fun:
