Fiber Sorting/Grading Apprenticeship
I am currently in an apprenticeship program in Fiber Sorting/Grading/Classing through SUNY- Cobleskill working toward Certification. The apprenticeship requires two years of field work sorting & grading of 150 Fleeces and sending samples of my work to my assigned Mentor for feedback and guidance. While I will be working with a variety of Fibers, my focus is wool. I would appreciate the opportunity to work (Volunteer) with and alongside Producers to Sort & Grade Fleeces.
