What is HoofTrader?
HoofTrader is designed to be an economical avenue for small ruminant producers to market their livestock and get the most bang for their buck (or doe, or ewe....) The goal is a direct marketing tool that can connect and serve small ruminant producers and their customers throughout the Southeastern US.


Pricing
All classified ads are available for $10 for 30 days. Ads may be posted longer, but must be paid in advance at an additional $10 for 30 day listing rate.

You can submit your ad by purchasing the Classified Ad.

What can I sell of HoofTrader?
Items that can be sold on HoofTrader must fit into the following categories:

•Equipment
•Hay/Feed
•Livestock- Goat and/or Sheep
• Services
•Wanted
•Guardian Animals

How many photos can I add and what sizes should they be?
You may add up to 3 photos. Any more than 3 and they will be deleted. Each image must be less than 1 MB in file size. The photo should be no larger than 1024 pixels x 768 pixels.  You cannot add or edit images after the classified is posted.

How long will my ad be listed?
Posts will last for 30 days.

How do I edit an ad after it is posted?
Before your classified ad is posted online, you will receive a proof by email. We ask that you review the proof for any errors in content, including spelling. Once the classified is posted, there can be no changes made.

I've made a sale and no longer want to sell my ad, how do I remove the ad?
To have the classified ad removed before the end of the 30 day posting, email Kelley Yates.  There will be no refunds for an ad removed before the 30 days.

How do I contact a seller about buying an item?
Each seller will provide contact information in the classified ad. All inquiries about the item (s) being sold and price negotiations must be done with the seller. The Kentucky Sheep and Goat Development Office will not serve as a mediator on negotiations.

I just submitted an ad, where is it?
There are two steps that must be completed before your ad will be posted online.

Step 1: Purchase the Classified Ad. No ad will be posted until payment is received. Mailed payments can be sent to:

Step 2: All sellers will receive a proof of the classified ad by email, or mail, before it is posted online. The Kentucky Sheep and Goat Development Office has up to three business days to send a proof to the seller after the seller has submitted all information for the classified ad. After the seller approves the proof, the Kentucky Sheep and Goat Development Office has one business day to post the classified ad online.

I feel that someone has been fraudulent in their listing or has otherwise violated the HoofTrader Terms and Conditions. 
Email us and explain the situation. If we agree and there is enough evidence the user will be banned from HoofTrader and put up on our blacklist.

How do I pay for the classified ad?
No ad will be posted online until we receive an approval on the proof of the ad and payment is received. You can pay for the classified either online, or by mail. Mailed payments can be sent to:
